Preventing Autologon in the Federal Network – Autologon Cookie
Within the Federal Network, even when using a VPN connection, the login via eIAM is typically automatic through the identity provider FED-LOGIN. This provider manages the standard identities of Federal Administration employees who are within the Federal Network. While this automatic login is convenient for users, it can be a hindrance in certain situations, such as during testing.By setting an autologon cookie, this automatic login process can be disabled. This allows the selection of the identity providers available for the application to be displayed, and the login via the FED-LOGIN IdP will no longer be performed automatically using Kerberos (Active Directory Single Sign-On).
The Autologon Cookies set individually for each operational stages (PROD/ABN/REF) on the following page: . Cookies can also be deactivated and/or completely deleted.
