Tile eIAM application integration
eIAM appl. integration

The provision of eIAM is agreed in a separate integration project or as a sub-project of a development project commissioned in the FOITT. This includes the customer consultation and the integration of the business application into eIAM.


Note:
If your application becomes part of the ePortal (eportal.admin.ch) of the FOITT, no eIAM integration is necessary because the ePortal is already connected to eIAM. You do not need to open an eIAM dossier in this case.

Step 2: Initial meeting with the eIAM SIE and project triage ▼

As soon as you have set question S1 in the eIAM dossier in the 2:statustracker to "Bitte nehmen sie mit mir Kontakt auf", an eIAM SIE will contact you. They will discuss the 3:Techinfos and 4:Projektinfos collected with you in order to triage the eIAM implementation (eIAM standard vs. non-standard implementation).

Step 3: Official commissioning of the BIT for the integration project ▼

  • Standard eIAM Integration: Remedy CRQ "Order eIAM Integration"
  • Non-Standard eIAM Integration: Open Remedy CRQ "Sales order general" to order eIAM consulting

Step 4: Hold a kick-off meeting with all parties involved ▼

Before the integration of an application into the eIAM service can take place, a number of specifications and other formal requirements must be met. The eIAM dossier contains various elements for collecting information. The structuring should help to record the information about the course of the project in a simpler and more comprehensible way in line with the progress. The graphical eIAM project process & control and the eIAM dossier should help you to involve your stakeholders correctly.

Step 5: Complete eIAM dossier → Verify detail questions with stakeholders ▼

Complete the 4:Projektinfos and the 3:Techinfos questionnaire together with your stakeholders, your eIAM SIE will be happy to support you if anything is unclear

Step 6: Checking, approving and carrying out the integration work (REF/ABN/PROD) ▼

The eIAM SIE checks your eIAM dossier: The eIAM implementation is released as soon as all dossier questions have been verified.

Carry out the work according to the checklist 5:Integration. Set up the basic infrastructure and implement the application in the eIAM REF/ABN/PROD instances until the application goes live with eIAM.

The 2:Statustracker in the implementation dossier MUST be continuously maintained together with the eIAM teams (Integration, Consulting, Operation)!

Step 7: Project finalisation and operational requirements ▼

Final acceptance (2:Statustracker point S12) and evaluation of the eIAM integration by the customer (2:Statustracker "Projekt Feedback").

The customer knows the process and the expectations regarding the regression tests of the applications during the eIAM service release implementations in order to be able to guarantee stable and secure productive operation of his application.
