The same eID can be used in eIAM for several target applications, several corporate contexts (units) and several profiles within a target application; eIAM shows the corresponding unit and profile selections. BYOI is central with regard to state-recognised electronic identities, as this eID must be brought along by the holder himself in various contexts, be it in a private or professional environment, and always represents the acting physical person.
